This Ocean City, NJ Pizza Shop Is One Of The Best In The USA

Here in Jersey, we take our pizza seriously.  So, when the website farandwide.com recently put out their list of the top pizza places in each state and named a local pizza place the best in New Jersey, I was stoked.

If there's one thing we do well in New Jersey, it's pizza.  While I was excited to see who they picked as best in Jersey, I was also curious to see what the other states had to offer.

I'm not going to lie; I think I gained ten pounds just looking at all the pizza.

Deluca's Pizza Hot Springs Arkansas This is a favorite of Barstool's David Portnoy.  During a recent visit, he gave Deluca's an 8.7 out of 10.

Pizza Pedal'r Denver CO Yes, those are pigs in a blanket on a pizza.  I understand people in that region need munchies, but have we reached a point where we just throw whatever happens to be in the kitchen onto a poor pizza?  This is a firm no.

Mr. P Pizza Lewes Delaware I believe the pizza pictured was a customer's winning entry.  What we see is, Pepper's hot sauce mixed in their homemade marinara, whole milk mozzarella, hot banana peppers, sweet peppers, grilled chicken, crushed red peppers, and then topped with Takis.

Bleeker Street Pizza NY NY  Sometimes simplicity is all it takes.

Tommy's Pizza Gettysburg PA  They've been around for over 50 years.  They must be pretty good (We hear they make a heck of a cheesesteak too!)

Pequod's Pizza Chicago Il Chicago deep dish pizza is the bomb.  Not quite Jersey, but I ain't kicking it out of my kitchen!

Manco & Manco Ocean City NJ This is another location that David Portnoy visited (What a great scam, by the way.  Travel the world and eat free pizza!) Portnoy gave Manco & Manco a 7.3 rating.  According to farandwide.com Manco & Manco is the top dog of New Jersey pizza.
