The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office and Millville Police are actively looking for two people connected with the murder of a Millville man last Saturday.

Authorities say Trasouf J. Bennett, 19, of Bridgeton, pulled up in a vehicle and shot and killed Roshaud Rhett, 20, of Millville on Saturday, June 14 on the 300 block of Maurice Street in Millville.

Police say  James L. Henry, 19, of Millville, then returned gunfire toward the vehicle driven by Bennett during the shooting.

Bennett and Henry are both on the run and are considered armed and dangerous.

Police are also trying to find Alijah Cruz, 16, who they think may have been in the vehicle with Bennett during the shooting.

Cruz is considered a runaway and may still be in the company of Bennett.

Charges Filed in Millville Homicide

Trasouf J. Bennett has been charged with first-degree murder,  unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

James L. Henry was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the shooting.

The Suspects Are Armed & Dangerous

Trasouf J. Bennett and James L. Henry are still on the loose and are considered armed and dangerous. You are warned by prosecutors about approaching either of them.

No charges have been filed against Alijah Cruz, but he is thought to be in the company of Trasouf Bennett and thus may be armed and dangerous.
