Harry's Boo Bar is owned by Madison Resorts, and last year the bar opened its first Christmas-themed pop-up bar that they called Harry's Jingle Bar.
The idea was a huge success with lines that extended up the street waiting for a chance to experience Harry's Jingle Bar.
It was that success that led the folks at Harry's to try a Halloween theme this year.
Madison Resorts owner Dan Alicea said,
Our team had so much fun with Jingle Bar and the reaction from the community was so amazing, we immediately said we wanted to present a Halloween twist on the idea.
Madison Resorts noted an increase in tourism in the fall, and they saw an opportunity to capitalize on the opportunity.
Alicea noted,
It's a great time of year to be at the shore and I think a lot of people are starting to realize that. Hotel rates are generally a little bit lower, there's much less traffic and crowds and the weather has still been really good for a few months into the fall. With this new increase in traffic our properties and other hospitality businesses at the shore have been adding programming around popular holidays like Halloween in the fall, Christmas in the Winter and St Patrick's Day in the Spring. This has been great for not only Madison Resorts but the communities that our properties operate in as a whole."
Harry's will also be collecting donations for the Cape May Beach Patrol.
There will be special drink and food menus as well with drinks like the Corpse Reviver, Blackbeard’s Rum Blood Bag, and Cape May Blood Moon.
