National Retailer Closing It's Last Remaining New Jersey Store
It is the end of Bob's Stores in New Jersey as the national retailer continues its shutdown around the nation. The final New Jersey location is located in Monmouth County and it will close its doors in Freehold.
According to the Daily Mail Bob's Stores "began 'Going Out Of Business' sales on Friday, with customers able to pick up goods with 30 to 70 percent off at the 21 stores. The website no longer works. Shoppers will find reduced prices on leading national brands like Nike across the stores. Select shop fixtures, furniture, and equipment like TVs and registers will also be on sale."
According to reports the final day for Bob's Stores will be July 14th when all locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island - will be gone forever.
The Freehold location is located at the popular Freehold Raceway Mall. You have approximately 12 days to visit Bob's in Monmouth County before it's closed for good.
I went on to their website and it is currently down. It says "Under construction....Pardon our mess while we make some planned updates to our website. We'll be back soon with an enhanced online shopping experience! In the meantime, our stores are open and stocked. Come in for the best deals on the brands you love!"
According to the Daily Mail, "We regret that our financial position necessitated the liquidation of Bob's Stores," Dave Barton, president of the retailer said announcing the news.
