It’s Exciting As Toms River Welcomes Fat Patty’s Restaurant
Who's Your Patty?
It's a brand new restaurant, this location in Toms River, but Fat Patty's has several locations and has been around for years. According to their website "So sometime in the early 2000s, we decided to introduce our burger friends to the world. We opened the first of the Fat Patty’s franchises in Huntington, West Virginia, just a stone’s throw from Marshall University. We had big buns, big dreams, and a bunch of hungry students. Fat Patty’s was an instant hit. One restaurant became two. Two became four, and before we knew it, we were successfully thinking about burgers every single day."
This new Fat Patty's is located in the former spot occupied by the Mellow Mushroom. According to reports it's hoped to open in Toms River in the next three to four weeks.
According to Patch, "The goal is to draw customers from a wide demographic, from the older residents who just want to have a meal to younger ones who want to spend a Sunday afternoon cheering on their favorite NFL teams, to families grabbing a meal after their children's sports competition."
There are lots of televisions (40 televisions) that can be found above the bar area and on the walls throughout the restaurant. There is one television that measures 110 inches so you can see every blade of grass in the sports games they televise.
The menu at Fat Patty's shows so many different types of foods. Like some of these foods:
- Fat'wiches: Including the French Dip, Reuben, Fat Italian, Fat BBQ, and more.
- Patty's Pies: Pizza
- The Bird Herd: Wings, Chicken Wrap, Fat's Tendies, Buffalo Chicken Tenders, etc.
- Something Light: Salads, Soups (Including French Onion), Classic Chili, etc.
- Cheesy: Nachos and Quesadilla. etc.
- Munchies: Southwest Egg Rolls, Fried Pickles, Fried Shrooms, Potato Boats, etc.
- Sweet Treats: Molten Cake, Fat Sundae, Dessert Pretzel
So as you can see Fat Patty's has a lotta choices and it sounds delicious. It's on my places to visit in 2025.
