If You’re Looking For Romance In New Jersey You May Have Come To The Wrong Place
Valentine's season is upon us, and New Jersey's rank when it comes to romance may leave a little to be desired from all of us.
Of course, this is the week of love and romance, so it makes sense to wonder if we live in a romantic place here in New Jersey.
It turns out, at least according to one report that New Jersey may not be as romantic as we think it is.
When it comes right down to it, New Jersey was in the middle of the pack when each state was ranked in several categories, according to the report at Pettitts Travel.
To be specific, there are 18 states more romantic than the Garden State, and that includes our neighbors in New York and Connecticut.
One of the more disappointing categories was the Romantic Communication category. Here in New Jersey we only scored 2 out of a possible 5. Not very good communication skills here in the Garden State.
Most of the results were relatively disappointing, and they all led to our overall ranking of #19 in the romance department.
The most romantic state in America is Nevada, which makes sense, and the state that holds the distinction of being the least romantic state in America is Kentucky.
One of the categories considered in making these rankings was the amount of money spent on Valentine's Day, and could you imagine what our ranking would be if the prices of things weren't so high here in New Jersey?
