There are a lot of great New Jersey restaurants you don't want to miss here in New Jersey, but one is being singled out as the one you have to try before you die.

With all the great restaurants here in the Garden State you would think there would be more than one to make the list of restaurants you have to try before you die.

This particular list was put together by the website Cheapism and contains 57 restaurants scattered around the nation, and one of them is right here in the Garden State.

So, which restaurant here in New Jersey gets the honor? It's the legendary, famous, and amazing Tops Diner in Harrison, and that's no surprise to most New Jersey residents who have been to this famous diner.

And Tops is no stranger to honors. It's getting them all the time, and they're all well-deserved. There is a Jersey Shore restaurant that I think could have just as easily gotten this honor.

It's an amazing pizzeria named Pete & Elda's Bar/Carmen's Pizzeria in Neptune City and it serves one of the most famous and delicious thin-crust pizza in New Jersey and maybe even the whole country.

Most people just call it Pete & Elda's and it truly is a Jersey Shore pizza experience. Some say if you haven't tried Pete & Elda's, then you haven't tried thin-crust pizza. The one way to know for sure is to try it out for yourself.
