If You’re Looking to Donate Your Extra Halloween Candy, Here are Some Local Drop Off Locations
Too many Snickers, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Sour Patch Kids and Skittles in your house?!
If you’re looking to get rid of any extra Halloween candy, or at least some of it, you can donate it to a great cause.
Some dentist offices throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties are taking part in a Halloween Candy Buyback Program where kids can drop off their candy in exchange for money.
Ocean Pediatrics Dental Associates, with offices in Toms River, Manahawkin and Cream Ridge, has been participating in the Halloween Candy Buy Back Program for more than a decade.
Kids will receive $1 per pound of candy, 5 pounds max per child.
The candy has to be unopened. They donate the candy to Move America Forward, a non-profit military charity.
They’re looking to help reduce the amount of candy in the homes of kids while sending care packages to our troops.
Drop-off dates are set for November 6th and 7th from 9am-4pm in all 3 offices.
- 368 Lakehurst Road, #305 Toms River, NJ 08755
- 211 West Millstream Road, Suite 1 Cream Ridge, NJ 08514
- 1301 Route 72 West, Suite 305 Manahawkin, NJ 08050
Adult and Pediatric Dental Studio in Manalapan has teamed up with the Freehold Borough Police Department, which gives the candy to various local programs throughout Freehold Borough.
You will also receive $1 for every pound of candy you donate, up to 5 pounds.
You can drop it off right at the office on November 1st, 2nd and 6th. 200 Bridge Plaza Drive Manalapan, NJ 07726.
