Jaw Dropping Photos Of The Northern Lights Across New Jersey
This week, New Jersey experienced something absolutely amazing, which frankly I never thought I'd see in my life.
Throughout the state, and all over the Jersey Shore the skies were illuminated with beautiful streams of light, making people everywhere stop what they were doing, go outside, and look up.
I'm talking of course about the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights.
When my wife and I lived in Central Pennsylvania, there were a few times we were supposed to be able to see the Northern Lights from our house in State College, but we never could.
Even after we moved to Jersey there were a few times that the Northern Lights were supposed to be visible, but we couldn't quite see them.
This week was a whole other story.

From our little beach town of Ocean Gate, to Browns Mills New Jersey, to Tuckerton and Middletown the Northern Lights were bright and visible throughout the state.
My cousin in Bayville got a really good picture from her backyard. Honestly, I'm a little jealous of how vibrant they are where she lives, and she's only a half-mile or so from us!
Even our listeners on 105.7 The Hawk got some truly amazing photos (below) that they shared with us on the 105.7 The Hawk Facebook Page.
I was amazed at how stunning the lights looked through cell phone cameras, but it really captures the beauty of the Northern Lights flashing over the Jersey Shore.
So let's get ready to venture across New Jersey and check out some of the amazing Northern Lights that people saw through the Garden State Yesterday.
