The goal is pretty simple: get to your destination safely, avoid cancellations and delays, and arrive on time, but while you're up in the air, certain things can make the experience frustrating for passengers.

A new survey found the most common complaints and the things travelers do that annoy others the most during a flight. Any guesses on what the top 5 common complaints are? Just think about the last time you were on an airplane and what bothered you most.
The study, conducted by HotelTonight, highlighted some of the biggest travel pet peeves passengers experience while flying.

The Flight Habits That Annoy Most Passengers, Ranked
#1. The battle over the armrest. It's a back-and-forth debate that has been going on forever. Who gets to use the armrest? Passengers say it's frustrating when someone takes over the entire space.
#2. Impatient passengers. When people rush to get off the plane and ignore the usual order of exiting.
#3. Overly talkative passengers. Those who want to engage in conversation during the entire flight.
#4. Boarding out of turn, before you're called.
#5. Asking to switch seats, especially when you're already on the plane, and everyone has already settled into their seats.
