In South Jersey, one of those ice cream places is the Maple Shade Custard Stand. It's been a local favorite since the early 1980s, and for very good reason!
It sits on the corner of West Main Street and South Coles Avenue in Maple Shade, with a big DRIVE-IN sign sitting on top of the ice cream stand.
I always order a Flurry, creamy soft-serve custard blended with your choice of candy or your favorite topping, but you can't go wrong with anything you order because everything on the menu is delicious.

From sherbert and Dole Whip to water ice, sundaes, and so much more, there's something for everyone. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and it's always delicious.
