It’s The Spending, Not The Spirit of Christmas

When it comes to the holidays, we're willing to flirt with debt threats to pay for gifts, a new study finds.  Nearly 1/3 of shoppers will go into the red acquiring  presents, according to YouGov.  Most of the debt will result from the use of credit cards, but some gifters said they would even borrow money from friends or take out a personal loan to make a material holiday wish come true.
