How to Take a Better Selfie [VIDEO]

I am soooo bad at taking selfies.  I inevitably give too much nostril, or double chin, and have yet to stumble into flattering lighting without the help of a filter.  But a recent segment on the lifestyle TV series All Hart on WMCN-TV gave me some pointers I thought might help you conquer your own selfie demons.

Here are the tips from Philly Current Magazine's Graphic Designer/Photographer Revati Doshi:

• Find your light.
• Be aware of your surroundings.
• Learn to become familiar with your bone structure.
• Practice facial expressions in the mirror first.
• Raise your arm slightly higher than your eye level and snap the photo from above rather than below.
