Here’s How You Can Ride the Cape May-Lewes Ferry for Free
The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is giving out free rides to local residents, but for ONE DAY only!
In honor of National Tourism Day, Cape May-Lewes Ferry is reaching out to residents in Cape May County and Sussex County to take a day trip! Press of Atlantic City reports, locals are usually busy catering to tourists. This free day gives residents the opportunity to experience the ferry while also helping the ferry appeal more to the local community.
Locals looking to ride the ferry just have to make a reservation and provide photo ID with a local zip code.
So if you live in either Cape May County or Sussex County, take advantage! A ride on the ferry is typically $18 roundtrip, and you get to ride FOR FREE?!
As someone who lives in Atlantic County, understand I am completely jealous of you.
To make a reservation on the ferry, call 800-643-3779 or online at CMLF.com. Use the code "Tourism." Oh, and Press of AC mentions reservations should be made no later than Saturday!
