If you can't resist a good bowl of guacamole, keep reading. The popular dip can be high in fat, but it's full of veggies. So is it a healthy treat or a hurtful one?

The verdict? Healthy!

Guacamole is essentially a 'superfood' according to health experts. Eating Well magazine reports that despite its high fat value there are more reasons to double dip then to deprive yourself.

With its avocados, lime juice cilantro, raw garlic, onions and tomatoes (if you go there), guacamole can rev up your immune system and your metabolism. Oh, and that high fat? They're monounsaturated, which makes them heart healthy.
