A four vehicle crash on the Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township Friday sent four people to the hospital.

Here are the details of the crash:

Investigation revealed a 2020 Lexus driven by Van Vasiliades (67) of Millsboro, Delaware, was traveling eastbound on Rt. 322, approaching the intersection with CologneAve. A Toyota Tacoma driven by Thomas Ciccarone (64) of Galloway, a Volkswagen Beetle driven by John Young (73) of Chester Springs, PA, and a Dodge Ram driven by Floran Mason (73) of Landisville, were all stopped on Rt. 322 at a red light. Vasiliades failed to stop and his vehicle collided with all three stopped vehicles. The impact overturned his Lexus, trapping him inside. Vasiliades was extracted by police with the help of several good Samaritans and off-duty officers who stopped to assist. A total of four people were transported to AtlantiCare (Mainland) for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

Police say Van Vasiiades was charged with possession of heroin and driving while intoxicated.
