No smile may have been bigger from the 2012 Summer Olympics than that of South Jersey native Jordan Burroughs.  The Gold Medalist from the London Games will celebrate in his home town this Saturday.

Jordan "All I See Is Gold" Burroughs fulfilled his prophecy by winning the Gold in his wrestling weight class, and now the town of Sicklerville will honor this hometown hero with a parade on Saturday, August 25. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday - starting ate the Christ Care Unit Missionary Baptist Church (242 Sicklerville Rd. which is at the corner of Grimes and Sicklerville Roads) and will end at School #3 (131 Sicklerville Road). At the conclusion of the parade at School #3, Burroughs will mingle and sign autographs for those who want.

Burroughs has tweeted that he feels honored for this moment from the area he grew up in.  Jordan has been enjoying the post-Olympic accolades having been on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the Today show on NBC flashing his winning smile and the Gold around his neck.

We here at SoJO are proud of Jordan's accomplishment, and hope for him to stop in the SoJO studios soon with his Gold Medal.
