Get in the Zone? Man Drives Truck into Ventnor Auto Parts Store

You heard the add slogan, "Get in the zone, Auto Zone"? This is definitely not what Auto Zone meant by that slogan. A man drove his pick-up truck through the entrance of the Auto Zone store in the Ventnor Plaza  Monday night.

A little  after 6pm Monday, a 38-year-old man driving a silver pickup crashed through the front window of the store in Ventnor Heights, demolishing a large section of the front glass facade.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, a 33-year-old man who was a customer in the store was injured during the crash.

Both the driver and the injured customer were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City division. The customer's injuries were described as minor.

Police are still investigating the accident.
