Garden State Parkway To Close South Of Woodbridge

The Garden State Parkway will close south of of exit 129 in Woodbridge at 4PM.

The road is now closed in both directions from Exit 63 in Manahawkin (Route 72) to the road's end in Cape May.

The additional closure through Ocean and Monmouth counties will occur as the afternoon commute gets underway and Sandy will begin to get worse.

Portions of the roadway were covered in water according to the Turnpike Authority,
