Galloway Man Killed As His Vehicle Collides With School Bus

A Wednesday morning crash between a school bus and an SUV has claimed the life of a Galloway Township man.

Galloway Township Police say the crash occurred just after 7am on Pitney Road at Quail Hollow Boulevard. Police say a Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by Thomas Malinowski, 33, of Galloway collided head on with a school bus driven by Gualberto Jimenez, 53 of Galloway. The Mitsubishi ended up in a wooded area.

Malinowski was trapped in his vehicle and had to be extracted by emergency personnel. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Jimenez and two students on the bus were not injured.
