Fruit Sold at Walmart Stores in New Jersey Being Recalled
It feels like there have been a lot of food recalls lately, with shoppers warned about chicken nuggets, flour, and a variety of prepared foods in just the last two weeks.
Add a trio of fresh fruit that may have been sold at Walmart stores in New Jersey to the list.
The FDA sent out a recall notice for fresh peaches and nectarines carried by Walmart stores in New Jersey for possible Listeria Monocytogenes contamination.
According to the recall notice,
The peaches and nectarines are sold as a bulk retail produce item with PLU sticker (PLU# 4044, 3035, 4378) showing the country of origin of Chile.
