In the wake of the untimely death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, the Foo Fighters have scrapped the remainder of their current tour, including their date in Philadelphia.

Hawkins was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia Friday, where the band was performing.

Medics reportedly attempted to perform life-saving measures on Hawkins, but were unsuccessful. He was just 50 years old.

Preliminary toxicology reports say he had multiple narcotics present in his system at the time of his death, including opioids.

The Foo Fighters were due to play Lincoln Financial Field in Philly on July 24th. Though they've performed along Camden Waterfront over the last few years, it would have been the band's first show in Philly since 2011.

Ticketholders for the July 24, 2022 concert can receive a full refund at the point of purchase. This may or may not include second-hand ticket brokers.

It's all just so sad. The Foo Fighters were on such a high recently. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame just last October, and earlier this year, the band put out a spoofy horror movie starring themselves called Studio 666.

And then there's the devastating fact that front man Dave Grohl has endured losing a key member of his band TWICE now. First, Kurt Cobain. Now, Taylor Hawkins.

Our thoughts remain with Hawkins bandmates, family, friends, and the legions of fans around the world mourning his loss.
