Fashion Retailer Express Announces Store Closures

The struggles of the retail industry continue into 2020. The latest chain to announce store closings for the new year is fashion retailer Express.

According to a report from the USA Today, Express will close 91 stores after disappointing sales during the 2019 holiday season.

The company will shut their doors on 30 stores by the end of January 2020. 35 more stores will close by the end of January 2021, and the 25 remaining stores will close by 2022.

The list of locations closing their doors for good has not been released yet. Express locations in South Jersey include Mays Landing, Toms River and Cherry Hill, and they all seem to be safe.
