Family and Friends Mourn Little Boy Who Drowned in Family Pool, Sunday
Loved ones are mourning a young boy with autism after he drowned in the family's pool in Pennsville Sunday afternoon.
This is one of the worst things to happen to any parent, to discover your child lifeless just a few feet away. And, that's what happened to this Pennsville family.
Reportedly, while the parents were inside, the young boy and his sibling were outside playing. The father didn't discover the boy was outside until he went to grab the children for dinner, and only one child was inside asleep.
When he stepped outside, this is when he saw the 4-year-old lifeless in their pool.
Authorities were immediately called, and despite CPR attempts, he was unresponsive. The boy was pronounced dead after he was taken to Salem Hospital.
Although authorities are still investigating, they believe the boy may have climbed out a window and fell into the pool.
No charges have been filed.
