Are you traveling for Thanksgiving this year? Well get ready, because AAA is predicting this to be the highest Thanksgiving rush ever seen in nine years.

Greeeeat.

According to AAA, we should expect a1.9 percent increase of Americans traveling away from home for Thanksgiving...a million people more than last year!

I bet you're wondering how the heck did they even figure this out. Well, they based their forecast off multiple factors such as jobs, household net worth, the stock market, gas prices, and airline tickets.

The breakdown goes as follows: from Wednesday, Nov. 23 through Sunday Nov. 27, about 43.5 million Americans are hitting the road, 3.7 million are flying, and the rest are taking public transportation. In total, that's 48.7 million people.

So, if you're traveling like I am for Thanksgiving this year, I have only one thing to say:

Brace yourselves.
