Everything You Need to Know About the Eagles’ Super Celebration
This is what you've been waiting for! Parade Day details have been announced and are set to honor the Super Bowl LII Champs - the Philadelphia Eagles!
Here are the details regarding Thursday's Super Eagles celebration, according to NJ.com, following a press conference held by Philadelphia City officials.
- The parade will kick off at Lincoln Financial Field (Broad St. and Pattison Ave.) at 11 AM and will end with a ceremony at the Philadelphia Art Museum at 1 PM. The parade route is 5 miles long!
- Lane closures began today (Tuesday) at 10 AM on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway ahead of the event.
- Look for surprises to happen during the parade procession. More details to come.
- Arrive early to secure your spot, they're estimating a larger crowd than when the Phillies won the World Series back in 2008. The city also plans to set up 14 jumbotrons along the parade route.
- You can get a free ride courtesy of SEPTA on parade day along the Market-Frankford El and Broad Street lines. You can also test "readyeagles" to 888777 for updated parade info. Also, give yourself plenty of time and expect mass transit delays.
