EHT State Trooper to Receive Posthumous Degree
New Jersey State Trooper Frankie Williams will be honored with a posthumous graduate degree at Rutgers-Camden.
The 31 year old trooper of Egg Harbor Township passed away December 5th while responding to a call about an erratic driver. Williams was involved in a head on collision on Route 55 in Millville.
Prior to his passing Williams was attending Rutgers-Camden's graduate school. He had graduated from Rutgers-Camden with a bachelors in Criminal Justice in 2012. He was also the 156th graduating class at the New Jersey State Police Academy in January 2016.
The commencement will be held today (May 17th) at 2pm at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden. Williams' wife and family will be accepting his degree. The university will be live streaming the ceremony.
