EHT High Senior Dies in Weekend Crash, GoFundMe Established

An 18-year old senior at Egg Harbor Township High school died early Saturday morning in a one-car crash.

Egg Harbor Township Police said Brayan Serrano lost control of his 2009 Nissan Altima and hit a utility pole on Delaware Avenue in the Bargaintown section, a little after midnight on Saturday, Jan 4.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that Serrano was trapped in the car and had to be extricated by the Bargaintown Fire Company.

Serrano was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, where he was pronounced dead.

His brother Jorge has established a GoFundMe page to help with Brayan's funeral expenses. Fellow students at Egg Harbor Township High are leaving tributes remembering their school mate.

The GoFundMe page had reached almost $5000 in donations by Sunday evening.
