Howie Roseman and Joe Douglas have made a deal, with the Eagles sending veteran backup quarterback Joe Flacco to the New York Jets in exchange for a conditional sixth-round pick that could be a fifth-rounder based on playing time.

Remember rookie Zach Wilson has a strained PCL and will miss 2-4 weeks, meaning Mike White would be the team's starter while Wilson is out.

Flacco, who did not appear in a game for the Eagles, spent the 2020 campaign with the Jets and served as Sam Darnold’s primary backup.

The team also added a quarterback on Monday, adding Reid Sinnett off waivers from the Dolphins.

With all the quarterback movement on Monday, Gardner Minshew now moves up the depth chart from the teas No 3 quarterback to the backup role.  The deal gets back the pick they traded for Minshew.
