Dead Fetus Found at Local Recycling Facility [VIDEO]

A deceased fetus was by a local recycling plant facility yesterday. A police investigation is underway and an autopsy is expected to be performed today.

The disturbing discovery happened around 3 p.m. Thursday at ReCommunity Camden, a recycling facility on Mount Ephraim Ave. in Camden. An employee found the fetus on a conveyor belt at the end of the first shift, 6abc.com reports.

The plant receives recyclables from Camden and Gloucester counties.

Police asked for a list of township vehicles that made drop-offs at the plant between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.

The cause and manner of death are so far unknown, as is the gender of the fetus.
