Convenient! New Royal Farms Underway on Route 30 in Absecon
Big things are happening at the corner of Route 9 and White Horse Pike in Absecon. Construction on a new Royal Farms convenience store and gas station is underway.
I'd seen a bunch of land being cleared in that area for awhile now, but it was just this week that a Royal Farms sign went up on the site, announcing that they're now hiring to staff the store.
The news comes just as Wawa announced they're hoping to build several more superstores in South Jersey, including in Blackwood and Cherry Hill. Not to mention, the Super Wawa on the White Horse Pike at Philadelphia Ave. in Egg Harbor City is beginning to take shape.

With the new Absecon Royal Farms still largely a dirt lot, we don't know yet when it will open, but it looks like it could be as early as the end of this summer.
Royal Farms first popped up in Atlantic County not long ago, at the corner of Fire and Tilton Roads in EHT. Another recently took over the former Berkshire Grill at Black Horse Pike and English Creek Ave.
Listen, I know some people are like, 'ANOTHER Royal Farms?' and 'ANOTHER Super Wawa'? But I say, 'the more the merrier'. More convenience STORES means a more convenient life, lol.
So, do you prefer one over the other? Royal Farms or Wawa? Take the poll below and let us know.
