Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato are gearing up to release their collaborative single, "Fall in Line," on Wednesday (May 16) and took to Twitter to tease the song by sharing some choice lyrics and adorable throwback photos of the singers in their youth.

From the shared lyrics, it appears this will be a women's empowerment anthem, which the world can always use more of.

"I have always looked up to Christina. I remember being at her concert and singing facing the crowd instead of the stage, knowing that that was exactly what I wanted to do in life," Lovato revealed in an interview with Billboard.

"She speaks up for what she believes in and sends a positive message, which are two things I find extremely important when given the platform we are lucky enough to have," she added.

"Fall in Line" will be featured on Aguilera's upcoming album, Liberation—her first in six years. The duo is set to perform the collaboration during the Billboard Music Awards, which will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson and broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
