Brigantine, NJ, Native Trevor Cohen Captures Another Award
Rutgers University freshman, a Brigantine native and Holy Spirit alum, won his second career Big 10 Freshman of the Week honor for going 8-for-17 (.471) in the week, reaching base in every game he played in during the week and this season.
Cohen is hitting a Big 10 leading .500 this season in 11 games this season with 15 RBI, three doubles a triple, 15 runs scored, and three stolen bases for the Scarlet Knights.

This is the second time the Brigantine native has won the award this season, taking the award in his first week of the season.
Cohen is one of many Cape-Atlantic League alums who are having solid seasons at the collegiate level with Ocean City's Tommy Finnegan recently winning his first game at St. John's.
