Bridesmaids Walk Down Aisle of a Wedding with Adoptable Shelter Dogs

This is genius! We have to applaud one bride for sending her bridesmaids down the aisle carrying shelter dogs up for adoption instead of the traditional bouquet of flowers.

It makes me want to go back and get married all over again just so I can do it, too!

Sally Burky, a Missouri dental assistant, tells People.com she came up with the idea while trolling Pinterest. “I thought how neat it would be to not only have puppies, but adolescent, and senior dogs as well!”, says Burky.

Burky herself is mom to a rescued pit bull puppy named Tank. All of the shelter dogs in her wedding came from Haven of the Ozarks.

This is WAY better than silly flowers that don't last more than a few days! And they love you BACK!
