Police in Bridgewater, Massachusetts say a South Jersey woman was found dead, her body burned near railroad tracks there.

29-year-old Ashley Bortner, a Paulsboro, N.J. native, was identified over the weekend, 6abc.com reports.

Authorities got a 911 call just before noon last Tuesday about a suspicious vehicle parked on railroad tracks in Bridgewater, Mass., about 25 miles south of Boston. Officers arrived and determined a human body was burning off an embankment down from the tracks in a relatively secluded area. Bortner's hands were reportedly tied behind her back and secured to her feet.

Two other people were also reportedly seen in the area.

Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz have concluded Bortner, who family says lived in Boston's Hyde Park section, was targeted and her death was not a random attack. An investigation is underway.
