They also add that a true margarita should never ever have simple syrup.

How do you narrow down just one margarita as the best in an entire state? That's why I'm putting it all on Eat This, Not That.

There are some spots that I really enjoy. Branch Cantina in Long Branch, for example.

Margarita Mondays are always fun. Whether you prefer a tradition margarita or the frozen variety, Branch Cantina never disappoints and is always mixing it up.

It's tough to really say which is better at Alto inside MC Hotel in Montclair. The views, or the drinks. I think it's a little bit of both. The rooftop is a really fun hang.

El Nopalito in Haddonfield does something really cool. They make a virgin margarita, and you can bring your own tequila to make it just the way you like it.

After combing through review after review, Eat This, Not That declared that this hotspot in Jersey is the undisputed champion of margaritas.

Orale Mexican Kitchen takes "Thirsty Thursdays" to a whole new level.

They have locations in Jersey City, Hoboken, and Morristown.

How do you know a restaurant takes its margaritas seriously?

They have a new flavor every single day. My hat goes off to the master mixologists at Orale.

That looks almost too good to drink. Nah!

The only thing that makes a margarita better is views of the beach. Check out the most breathtaking Beach Bars in Jersey
