Cherry Hill Police have charged a juvenile in connection with a threat made to Cherry Hill High School East on Sunday.
The person has been charged with 'making a false public alarm' after a threatening text message circulated online.
Cherry Hill Public Schools superintendent Joseph Meloche sent a letter alerting parents of the incident, thanking the police for how quickly they responded. Police are also giving credit to the community for giving them a tip about the message.
Although the juvenile has been arrested, officials still plan to be present at the high school on Monday and watch out for any suspicious activity at all Cherry Hill schools.
