A 6-year-old boy was killed and three other people were injured in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway Saturday afternoon.

philly.com reports an SUV driven by 26-year-old Jillian Nimmo of Sickerville was traveling westbound near mile marker 16.2 on the Atlantic City Expressway in Hamilton Township Saturday afternoon when it may have clipped a car while changing lanes, according to police. Both vehicles left the roadway and struck trees. A 6-year-old boy, who was in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. Both Nimmo and the driver of the other car involved in the crash, 89-year-old Jerome Fogel of Westmont, were flown to regional hospitals; 82-year-old Loretta Gregorio of Haddonfield, who was a passenger in the car with Fogel, was also injured.

State Police continue their investigation.
