3 Men, 1 Juvenile Charged With First-degree Murder for Camden, NJ, Shooting
Three men and one juvenile have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting of a man in Camden this past summer.
Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay's office says on the evening of July 27th, Camden County Police officers were dispatched to a ShotSpotter activation in the 100 block of North 25th Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim later identified as 24-year-old Naseem Lindsey, who was suffering from gunshot wounds. Lindsey was transported by the officers to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:30 p.m.
On Monday, October 3rd, four people were charged and arrested in connection to Lindsey's death:
- Angelo Roman, 19 - first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder
- D’Angelo Hill, 20 - first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder
- Geunel Lajara, 19 - first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder
- Male juvenile - first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder
Roman, Hill, and Lajara are in custody and are currently lodged at the Camden County Correctional Facility. The male juvenile is in custody at the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
