Two men are being held on $100,000 bail after being arrested for burglarizing over 1,000 cars in South Jersey.
State police have arrested 23-yr-old Christopher Mander and 25-yr-old Vincent Laracombe for burglary, theft, and weapons charges. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the two men stole at least $10,000 worth of merchandise, and sold some of it to supply a suspected heroine addiction.
The burglaries took place in Upper, Dennis, and Middle Townships, along with Somers Point over the last 6 months. The two men reportedly struck usually after midnight in search of unlocked cars, or breaking the windows of other cars to take whatever was inside the vehicles.
Woodbine State Police have announced that if you may have been victimized or has more information about the crimes should contact (609) 861-5698.
