It's Girl Scout cookie season.  And you know, even if you don't have a daughter selling them, you'll eventually give in.  So I thought I'd sahre some inspiration for making use of your indulgence in a variety of different ways, like these Samoas Ice Cream Truffles.

1.  Samoas Ice-Cream Truffles

For a sweet, bite-sized dessert, roll ice cream into small balls then coat in your favorite Girl Scout Cookie crumbs. Pile Samoa truffles, Do-Si-Dos Ice Cream Truffles, and Trefoils Ice-Cream Truffles into a bowl or waffle cone to resemble individual scoops of ice cream.

2.  Chocolate Shortbread Sundae

Call in the troops to help with this simple after-dinner dessert. Use your favorite flavor of ice cream, extra Trefoils, and of course, the classic sundae toppings like chocolate, maraschino cherries, and whipped cream.

3.  Lemon-Blueberry Layered Parfait

Only 5 ingredients are needed for this deceptively refreshing, summertime parfait. Earn your badge for creativity when you layer crushed Lemonades, blueberry filling and lemon-flavored cream.

4.  Triple Chocolate-Trifle Pie

Just like the buddy system, this double cookie delight fills two cookies with creamy white chocolate. Use two Samoas, Dulce de Leches, or a Do-Si-Dos split in half to make these decadent, cream-filled sandwich cookies

Earn your Girl Scout Gold Award with this 5-star cookie pudding recipe. recommends Tagalongs to make chocolate peanut butter pudding, Do-Si-Dos for oatmeal peanut butter pudding, or Thin Mints for chocolate mint pudding.

7.  Chocolate and Peanut Butter S'mores

Gather 'round the campfire and substitute Thin Mints for the wafer cookies to give this peanut butter and roasted marshmallow combo a hint of mint.
