Hey, New Jersey! A Company Wants to Pay You for Watching Movies!

Three's a company that wants you to watch 15 movies about traveling and pay you $100 for each film!

The company is Upgraded Points (which provides info on how travel and credit card rewards are linked) and they're looking for someone to binge-watch 15 iconic travel movies (Into the Wild, Out of Africa) to help them analyze the most popular destinations, trip themes, and more.

And the travel movies chosen by Upgraded Points are not limited to physical destinations. They've also included films about time travel in the project.

Some of the movies they want you to watch to earn your $1,500 paycheck are:

Back to the Future (1985)

$1,500 sounds pretty equal to 1.21 giggawatts to me!

Wild (2014)

Earn bucks for the tears you'll cry watching Reese Witherspoon come to grips with the death of her mother.

Dune (2021)

Don't understand this movie? Who cares?! You'll get paid for watching it.

The Bucket List (2007)

Living vicariously through Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman doesn't sound like a bad way to earn cash.

Eat Pray Love (2010)

Get paid watching Julia Roberts take on the world to get over a heartbreak.

Rounding out the list of movies is Barbie, Leap Year, Midnight in Paris, Shrek, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Way, Under the Tuscan Sun, and War Dogs.

How to Get Paid $1,500 to Watch a Bunch of Movies

Now, here's the catch. You must enter to participate by Friday, May 10, 2024, and you would be responsible for renting the movies on the list, but Upgraded Points will reportedly hook you up with a $75 Amazon gift card to help offset your out-of-pocket costs.

There's homework, too. You'll need to complete binge-watching all 15 movies and fill out a provided worksheet for each by the June 21, 2024 deadline.
