Fans of Bruce Springsteen are all over his home state, and you as a Jersey native and fan of "The Boss" can help in the creation of a documentary film about one of our favorite sons.

Famed film director and producer Ridley Scott, whose resume includes Blade Runner, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, and American Gangster just to name a few, is spearheading this project called "Springsteen & I" to be in theaters sometime in 2013.  Scott plans to mirror the approach behind last year's "Life In A Day," which weaved together footage from people around the world to show life on earth as of July 2010.

This is where you come in - as a fan you are being encouraged to make your own short film about The Boss and what he means to you, but you need to act fast because you only have until November 29th to submit your video.

Scott's company, who is producing this film, is also looking for photographs or any old footage of Springsteen "to help them build up a picture of what the acclaimed songwriter and musician means to them".

More details and downloading details can be found here.  This will be unique experience, and the more love from The Garden State that come in, the more authentic the film may turn out (because we all have an inner Springsteen fan in every Jersey person!)
