Woman Run Over by Trash Truck While Reading on the Beach

This poor woman was reading and relaxing on an Ocean County beach when a trash truck ran her over.

Ouch!

NBC10 says Megan Fabieniak suffered minor injuries to her arm and leg after the Ford pickup ran over her on 3rd Avenue Beach in Ship Bottom on Wednesday.

See, when reading this headline, I assumed the truck just lightly ran over her and kept moving without realizing. Apparently, the front wheel not only struck her, but it stopped right on top of her!

Luckily she was hospitalized and expected to be just fine.

Now, I'm just curious to know how in the world the driver didn't see this woman on the beach! Or, on the other side of the coin, how did she not hear the truck coming??

I guess I will have to wait until the driver provides police with a statement.

Poor woman!
