New Jersey police revived a woman's life after her 78-year-old husband reportedly tried to kill her.

On Tuesday morning, police had received a call about a seemingly 'deceased' woman lying out in her front yard.

NJ. com reports, that officers luckily performed CPR and used an automated external defibrillator to revive the woman. After further investigation, police suspect the woman's husband is responsible for her unconsciousness.

Her husband, John T. Teti of Barrington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and is being charged with:

  • second-degree attempted homicide
  • second-degree aggravated assault
  • third-degree evident tampering after wife was found

He is currently in Burlington County Jail on $350,000 bail. As for the woman, she is in stable condition at a local hospital.

There seems to be no news as to why he attempted to kill her. We're just happy to hear she's still alive.
