What Is This Thing in EHT?

Do Keebler Elves live in this odd tower-like structure on the side of the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township?

I gotta be honest, I was too lazy to pull over to the side of the road to take better pictures of this odd little tower - plus, I didn't want to get run over by the traffic on the Black Horse Pike.

It looks to be about fifteen feet tall and is covered by ivy or tree roots all over the side and back of it.  A small roof covers the open interior that you can see through the open door way.

This strange little castle-like building is across the street from Story Book Land, but it hasn't been maintained like Story Book Land and doesn't exactly look like it fits there.
