What is NJ’s Most Popular Dog Breed?

According to the American Kennel Club, Jersey loves the big dogs!

The American Kennel Club was able to discover each state's most popular dog breed. Labs were number one and in sync with the majority of the country. Only Kentucky, West Virginia (beagle) and Florida (German Shepherd) differed.

Things diversified a little big more when they looked at the second most popular dog breed in the country. Again, like much of the rest of the nation we shared our love for German Shepherds.

Golden Retrievers were the third most popular in Jersey.
