What Does South Jersey Prefer, the Beach or the Pool?

It's the biggest debate in South Jersey!

Since July is here and everyone is sweating in places that they didn't know they could sweat I figured now would be the time to pose the question of the summer.

What do you prefer more, the pool or beach? I'll tell you mine right off the bat. Pool. All day. The beach isn't necessarily bad in my opinion, I do go from time to time, I just need to be in the mood for it (and all the sand I somehow drag into my car). But if given the option, pool first.

Now what about you?

According to the comments, it seems like South Jersey prefers the pool instead of the beach, but by the slimmest of margins.

Then there's this person...

I'm sorry, but I just can't will myself to believe that people will jump into a disgusting lake with god knows what in it. And I know, you are going to say the beach is practically the same thing, but it's not.

Ocean view > lake view.

And it's not in my top 2 choices if I was playing word association and the word was 'summer.'

Sorry, I just can't.
