Nature is pretty awesome. We got another reminder as Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten caught the migration of baby ducks from their lower deck roof, right into Asbury Park's Wesley Lake.

According to Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten's Facebook page, The Festhalle discovered a nest of seven duck eggs on their roof a few weeks ago. Responsibly, they left the mother and her eggs alone.

When Jennifer from the Biergarten arrived to work on Thursday, she said she saw the mother "wondering around the entrance ramp." Jennifer added, "I asked her if she was ok and she just quacked at me."

As Jennifer went to go in, she saw something fall from the roof and almost hit her in the head. "I looked up to see the eggs had hatched and 6 more ducklings were about to jump," Jennifer said.

She began yelling for help as she attempted to catch the next jumping duckling.

As seen in this video, Sous Chef Tim Spielman heard her Jennifer yelling and managed to catch two baby ducklings in his baseball hat! All seven "Biergarten Babes" made it to Wesley Lake.

Did the Biergarten name the newborn ducklings? Of course!

The next time you're in Asbury, look for Hans, Tobias, Greta, Pavol, Filip, Marta and Sebestian!
