WATCH: Testing Underway on Ocean City’s Newest Roller Coaster
If you've spent any time on the Ocean City Boardwalk over the past few months, you have probably seen the giant blue roller coaster tracks up in the air at Playland's Castaway Cove.
That blue track belongs to GaleForce, the new ride that should be opening in a few weeks. The folks at CoasterForce on YouTube were able to shoot some video of the ride as it's now being tested. Check this out...
The new ride is 125 feet tall (in comparison, that's a little taller than The Flanders building in Ocean City), reaches a top speed of 64 MPH, and has a greater than 90-degree drop.
Naturally, thrill seekers around the area are asking when the ride will open and Playland's Castaway Cove is posting updates on its Facebook page.
